The food was really quite good, the wait was not. BBQ Sauces for variety of flavors ( sweet, hot, mustard, etc) are great for folks who want to add there own amount of sauce. Also this was a good restaurant for people with gluten sensitivities. We waited for 20 min outside on a Saturday at 5pm when 20 tables were open inside and on the patio. Then it took almost 1.5 hrs to order, get drinks, get food, get boxes to go, get the ticket...not sure why the wait was so long.
UPDATE 4/4/19! Nice response from the manger to seek to understand our experience and work to improve.
What can I say, this place is amazing. The waiter we had was awesome! He new the menu very well even the drinks and could make suggestions of his faves. The food came out prompt, hot and was delicious. Absolutely loved the rib tips, stlouis style ribs and coleslaw. The cornbread muffins were good too. We went on my birthday and I got a nice complimentary sundae to share with my family. Will definitely go here again. Update 2019: I still Love this place and happy hour Sunday.
The best! If you like BBQ
this is the place. Friendly fast down home service. Do not go there and not eat the ribs. Great ribs, pulled pork, slaw. Get the trash can lid.... you'll understand when u get there
Good BBQ. I had the smoked turkey sandwich. Would definitely get it again. Our server was friendly and very attentive. I smoke most of my own BBQ at home, so rarely go out for it. But I enjoyed this lunch.
It was solid. The wings we had were quite plump, and the sauces were good. Our server was excellent, and the manager was great as well - we were just enjoying our meal, and the manager came up to our table for conversation; he even gave us a discount!
All in all, a good experience. The food was four stars, but the staff took the experience over the top.
