1st time customer. I had the fried soft shell crab. Was not the best in comparison what you would get in Florida. Onion rings were perfect. Service was great. $26 with tip and a bloody Mary. Two small crabs and a lot of onion rings. Take it or leave it meal that was a little pricey for seafood in the middle of the desert.
What's not to live about this place? Not only is their food good, but Angry Crab is also about the experience! Workers are always friendly. I've come here with just my mom & brother and also with a 20 person birthday party. They're pretty organized with large groups, and while it did sometimes take a while to get utensils (it was a busy Friday night & they apparently ran out) they were very accommodating and always friendly. Highly recommend! If you're not into the messy sea food boil - I highly recommend the catfish & sweet potato fries! If you are into the boils, pro tip: they'll mix sauces for you. ;)
This place is it! If you're looking for Cajun food or really just seafood in general you've got to check out the Angry Crab Shack! This place does not disappoint and their spice levels are no joke. Plenty of beer to choose from and if still have room for more they offer dessert. Come through!
The food was so good I ate it before I got a pic- so here's my dog. We're here at least once a month. They have a dog friendly patio with misters on during the summer. Very reasonable prices when compared to other seafood places in the valley. My go to flavor is Pacific Rim- a spicy thai coconut curry sauce. Don't let the word "curry" scare you- it's nothing like the traditional kind. All seafood comes out cooked well and appears fresh (I'm no seafood fanatic though). I rarely run into the issue of overcooked/ rubbery crab legs- if you alert staff of it they'll replace them. All seafood boils come in a bag ready to peel&crack open. Expect to get your hands dirty! Staff is always friendly and welcoming at this location. Be prepared for a wait on the weekends- they get slammed real quick.
First of all ask for the server Ryan! Second, I’ve had a lot of crab in my life and this is one of the best tasting crabs I’ve ever had. The experience, the ambience, THE FOOD, all of it was good. One thing I would say is to open up the front area for larger parties of people as much as possible to stand and such, but other than that it was great. We will 100% be coming back here and we’re from out of town!
