Nello's Pizza Mesa

My first time at Nello's Pizza restaurant which is a family owned and operated place. The restaurant was originally opened 36 years ago at current location in Mesa and it is open weekdays from 11 am to 9 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 10 pm, and Mondays closed. Nello's menu for appetizers and Pizzas is extensive and they trust in their golden light crust. The menu among others includes specialty pizzas, salads, sandwiches, pasta, beverages, happy hour and desserts. Nello's has been recognized as an award winning restaurant starting from 1984 through 2018. It has indoor and outdoor seating in a friendly atmosphere and one feels at home while dining there. My food was delicious and they provide catering for pizza and salad with 24 hours advance notice. Service was attentive and kind.

Great pizza has great pizza sauce and this place has it. We tried both their original (thick/deep dish) and thin crust pizza and both were really good. Friendly staff too. The buffalo chicken pizza was awesome.

Best pizza in AZ... Hands down. They do a pan style sourdough crust with an amazing flavorful pizza sauce with the just the right amount of herbs and a little bit of spice. Never had a dissatisfying pie from Nello's. The sandwiches are awesome too, the French dip or meatball are my favorites. Reasonably priced and the atmosphere is relatively casual. Great place to take the family.

Cozy spot for Chicago style pie. I like the original crust pizza which is thick and crispy. The house salad and dressing are good too. This location has good service but can get busy. Remember they are closed on Mondays.

Great place to take people from out of town. The salads are huge and the pizza is very good. The wait staff is friendly and interactive and a lot of fun. I hit Nello's every time I have out of town guests for sure.
