Mr Brews Taphouse - Mesa

It was a bit busy so we sat at the bar. Enjoyed a Stone IPA and a walnut salad. Had a pecan porter for "dessert" No complaints on the food just wished the bartender wasn't eating bacon with his fingers as he was serving us. Don't get me wrong, he was nice enough but it's food service 101 and it kind of put me off.

Ok, I really like this place, was able to get seated quickly on a Saturday night. Food, atmosphere, service outstanding. Afraid after a couple more posts like this I will have to wait in line to eat...but this place deserves a 5 Star review. Prices reasonable too!

Cute little place. They have beer flights and all different kinds of beer. My favorite is the Dragons Milk. It's very dark, so may not be for everyone. Now the reason for 3 stars, it's the food. The appetizers are decent, the burgers.....they are totally ruined by the buns they use. The buns disintegrate the minute you pick up the burger. I've been there twice now and have eaten my burger with a fork and knife. They fry their own chips, but I'm pretty sure they don't stir them when frying because half of them are undercooked and chewy. They really need to step up on their food. If you want a beer and some pretzels definitely stop by. If you are hungry, I would go somewhere else.

Stopped in for lunch. Had the japelano burger with an impossible patty, it was delicious. My friend had a regular burger that looked outstanding and she said it was amazing. The fries were good and crisp, service was awesome too. I didn't get to try any beers unfortunately but the selection was amazing. I will def be back to try some. It's a pretty big place and was quiet during lunchtime. We got seated right away and out good came out fast.

Awesome food & even better people! Stopped in here in on a whim for a drink and an appetizer and boy, were we surprised in a good way! Our apps were super good! Definitely going back for a burger! And the staff were all engaging, super friendly & helpful! We had a great time! Definitely recommend! Reasonable prices too!
