On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Jose was our waiter. He did a good job taking care of our table. There for was fresh and tasted really good. Mat was a manager that was checking on things and he brought out our food. He heard us talking to our friend who was having dinner and is vegan and apologized and said he would get some other rice because what he brought was made with chicken stock. He also made another of our friends some salsa that wasn't as spicy for her. He really went above and beyond. He was checking on tables and helping out all over the restaurant. It was a really good night. A+ all the way around.

I have been going to various On the Border locations over the years, and this one in particular of late since I have been living nearby. The ranchiladas has always been my favorite and it's been served consistently to me each time. It's always nice to get a familiar favorite and know that it will be prepared to my satisfaction. I normally dine solo so I typically sit at the bar, and the service is always prompt and pleasant. The food hits the spot and the service puts me in a good mood for the afternoon/evening.

The staff was very attentive and friendly and the food had a very good flavor. Steak bowl was a very healthy choice for a low carb diet. The beef empanadas were fresh with the right blend of spices and don't need the canned cheese sauce.

Had the best experience at On the Border last night. Our waitress, Madison, was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter is gluten free and she examined everything on the menu that was gluten free. She took the initiative to ask the manager to do something out of the norm to make out experience special. I normally tip pretty good, but kay night I gave a 40% tip because the service was just that good. I highly recommend On the Border and when you go, I hope you sit at one of Madison's tables. We will definitely be going back. Oh yeah, my wife liked the $5 margaritas.
