The Halal Guys

So I’ve driven past this place a few times and decided to stop in. I choose the platter to try a little bit of everything. Overall I really enjoyed the food. The falafel was light and crispy on outside. But what stood on for me to be the most was the staff Rihanna who welcomed me with a smile. She helped with my food selection. But why she is exceptional was because I hadn’t eaten all day. As I was headed to fountain drinks to fill my cup. I tripped and all my food hit the floor. I was absolutely horrified!!! I was nearly in tears. She just smiled from across the counter and said that’s ok. Without me even asking if I had to pay again she immediately started remaking my order. I was speechless by her kindness. Not many fast food place have great customer service without having to ask for help. I will return to this location because of how I was treated. Good Customer Service is what makes people loyal!! I

Ordered via Door Dash- my first time having Halal Guys. It was good, just not over the top. I was a little surprised the white sauce came in packets, and it was good, just not what I was expecting and leads me to believe it's made in mass quantities, and not in house. We had a gyro, a chicken sandwich, fries and hummus. The hot sauce is legitimately hot and I regretted loading it on the chicken. Will order again, but have clearer expectations.

Best part of my meal was the hot sauce! We went there for this very reason and we weren't disappointed. I had about "12 lines" of hot sauce across my platter, perfect colorful grid above my falafel, rice and salad. I tried the white sauce, and it tasted more like a creamy bland dressing, l was hoping for a garlic, parsley flavor, oh well... The falafel were nice and moist, rice was yellow and had no flavor. Pita bread was very good! Ron liked his chicken platter too. The Halal Guys definitely hit the spot today!

The food was good, nothing special. I was surprised how long it took for service as they only had one person working and there wasn't a line, just slow. Nothing out of this world as far as the gyros goes, but it was satisfactory.

We have been here several times. Great business concept, and great food. Should be simple, too bad poor management is ruining this location. You really need to have more than just one person working when you open up, and the night shift shouldn't go home until everything is stocked, cleaned and in working order before leaving. All it would take is a little management with attention to detail to make this place GREAT. I hope they can improve and stay open.
