The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Desert Ridge

I've been here twice for steak, both times on the patio. Other than wobbly rocking tables, the scene is great in the cooler months. It's in the service and steak that The Keg loses points. In both of my visits, I was at a six- or eight-top on a non-peak day, and multiple folks at my table would have to wait multiple times for drink or food related needs to be met by the waitstaff. The last time I was there, I ordered the 7 oz. filet at medium rare. When it arrived, it was nearly well. What a waste. I had similar results with the steak on my first visit too. Some folks swear by this place, but I've only ever had a so-so experience.

After a few hectics months my wife and I finally were able to have a date night and this place was incredible. Not only was the food, service, and atmosphere outstanding but they also placed roses on our table for our date!! Talk about thoughtful! Definitely one of our favs now and will be visiting often. Our waiter Michael Macintosh was exceptional.

We went for an early dinner at 5pm since we missed lunch. We had the burger and steak frites. The burger was top notch. The steak was a little over cooked, I asked for medium rare and it was closer to medium. We sat on the patio, which was great for this time of year. Inside is like a typical steak house, very dark, but modern.

Place is the best. Took my Aunt there for her birthday. The waiter was outstanding. He brought out a piece of ice cream cake for her. The food is great. The service second to none.

The food was delicious. I missed the escargot ! My family and I love this restaurant. Great customer service, nice ambience. Look forward to going here at any time of the year. Nice clean restrooms. Thank you Keg Manager and great staff.Last but not least thank you to the Chef and kitchen help for the delicious meals and great plating and presentation . I have never eaten a bad meal in this restaurant.
