Stopped in here after we were turned down by another restaurant in the airport because they were closing early. Turns out, this was a good thing as this place was a fantastic experience. Alexis was awesome! They stayed open late to take care of their late night customers and the food was delicious.
Sky Harbor location. Awesome service for an airport eatery. Well laid out seating. Good place to kill time before a flight.

I ordered the 'Smothered and Covered'; basically a burger pattie covered in gravy, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was flat out amazing; great taste, portion, and decent price.
The alcohol, one the other hand, is egregiously charged (even for an airport). A scotch and water comes at a $14 charge, and that's using cheap J&B liquor (which is somehow considered premium). You're basically covering the cost for a large bottle for every drink you order. I get we're in an airport; charge $9 or $10 dollars and I'll raise your stars.
I came to the Matt's Big Breakfast at the airport in Phoenix. I had the tuna fish sandwich and it was OK. The bread was way too thick, though. The fries were a bit greasy but good. The best part of my experience was one of the staff. She was very attentive, helpful and friendly. I would give MBB a second try because the person next to me was eating a hamburger that looked amazing!
Excellent spot for breakfast, and especially good for an airport eatery. Fresh food, friendly and fast service and no complaints. Greeted by a friendly host and sat quickly. Food was exceptionally good and I will probably eat there again next time through Sky Harbor.
