Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Best experience I have had with Cafe Rio since moving to AZ. Enchiladas were on special, would get them again ????

Large portions and delicious food. Tortillas are made freshly, right in front of you while you wait to order. Great service as well, will definitely return since I work nearby

The flavor of the meats and sauces were excellent. The veggies were fresh. The servers were outgoing and friendly. I hadn't been in 15 years or so and usually that's because I didn't care for the meal but I just hadn't spent any time in Tempe for a while. I tried the location on Camelback today and realized how good the food was. I'll definitely be back soon. I've been missing out.

Taco Tuesday are amazing here! I came here for a work event but now it's one of my favorite places for tacos! Their sweet pork is perfect.

I went on Taco Tuesday for the special. I hesitate to even mention this because this place will get more busy and I like the crowd tonight. I got 1 steak taco, beans, rice and soda for $4. No joke. They are making small flour tortillas in front of you while you order food cafeteria style. Everything here is 5 times better than a certain chain Mexican takeout restaurant. And the place is warm and inviting with a great layout. It isn't cold, with metal seats and freezing temps.

The pinto beans were marinated in some great flavors and the rice was hearty. Honestly the best American style restaurant I've ever been to. This is a new go-to place at least twice a month.
