Crust Pizzeria 16th St

Food was super good, staff was friendly. Weather was beautiful, sat by an open window facing the street and tried the Uncle Louie's pizza. It's VERY filling, so we'll have lots of leftovers.

Simple menu, pretty much all the classics. Will definitely stop by whenever we're on this side of Phoenix.

The Last Mango in Mexico was everything I look for in a cocktail! The pizza was incredible. True NYC Pie! Best of all was the service. The proprietor, Daniel, was here welcoming all the guests and our server, Chinea, well I could write a novel about how great she was, but I’ll spare you and leave it at best in class in a league of her own. 10 out 10 will be coming back for years to come!

This place was great. Good vibes and I was able to watch the game for a bit in peace. My kid had the Italian beef Chicago style sandwich, said it was the best she ever ate. I had a couple of slices. It was good stuff, can't beat the slice price, big ones too. Danny checked up on us, friendly dude, not to pushy. You can tell he's loving his work. You could also tell the staff was treated well. Caitlin, (server, bartender, both?) made a mean peach old fashioned, and it's not like I was drinking before five. Definitely going back.

We ordered delivery, so maybe it’s different at the restaurant. We never got our garlic knots. The wings were pretty good. Lots of flavor. If you like your wings crispy then this isn’t the place for you. We also ordered the artichoke and spinach dip. Unsure what it was, but we did not like the way it tasted. It was really bitter. The “pizza” bread that came with it had lots of flavor and we ended up eating it on its own.

Overall, we weren’t impressed. For as expensive as it was, we felt a little ripped off.

We're so happy Crust joined the neighborhood. They're in the space where Artichoke was. We got the 2 slices of pepperoni thin crust and a slice of cheese sicilian crust, Caesar salad, 2 meatballs w/marinara and fettuccine marinara. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. We'll be back for sure.
