Frank's Deli

Omg!! I finally found some good tasting food in Phoenix. I just happened to make a u-turn on 23rd ave right in front of Frank's Deli so I came back to try it. Had the turkey and cheese sub. It was so so good. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much. Especially the lady who made it behind the counter. Your an awesome sandwich maker you deserve recognition.

Always great service and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of subs, dessert and sides. They deliver with the Simpson neighborhood and for further out they use GrubHub. In person is usually best to see everyone in person and catch up.

I visited here earlier this week after I found them on Google when I was looking for a sandwich shop.
Small mom and pop place, and the young man at the counter that his mom was the one making my sandwich. She made me a better sandwich than my own mom :)
Anyways, I ordered The Tony (as is) and I LOVED it. Whatever magical mayo and other fixings they put on it made it super good. Usually, I do not like order a sandwich with that much meat because they are usually way too salty, but the meat they use is not salty or cheap tasting at all.
Also, the sandwiches are MASSIVE, especially for the price. One (at least of what I ordered) can easily feed 2 people.
Also, their cheesecake and pickles are really good. They do have places to sit and eat, though I was in a hurry and ate in my car.
The rest of the store has some snacks and drinks, like a small convenience store. They sell Cactus Cooler, for those of you who are always on the hunt for it :)

I will be going back, and more than likely it will be today.

Great neighborhood deli! Just plain and simple but very good deli on 23rd Ave and Camelback. Family owned and operated. Big subs at a very good price. You will find this to be a no frills super friendly locals type place. I highly recommend.

This family owned and operated business is tucked away about a block north of Camelback on 23rd Avenue. It's just reopened after a month hiatus for a remodel. The sons are carrying the torch of their grandfather's business that's been in operation by their mom and dad over the last 40 years. I had the New York Style sub with the cold cuts. They make their own dressing, and the bread is their own proprietary recipe. Hands down the best sub sandwich I've ever had. Stop in and try it if you haven't, you won't be disappointed.
