Red River BBQ

We came here to meet friends with some trepidation, due to the fact that the average review was below 3 stars. However, after talking to a very friendly wait staff, we ordered a pork BBQ pizza (there were other well-chosen ingredients but, to my shame, I don't recall any of them). The crust was made on-site and was exceptional. The pizza fed both my husband and I and left us enough to share with friends who all stated they would come back for pizza again. We also had a jalapeno corn muffin as we were waiting and it was fresh from the oven and wonderful.
I can't speak to the caliber of their BBQ, but I can tell you I would come back for pizza!

Very unique. One side is cafeteria style with a very home town feel. The other side is an almost luxurious bar/lounge area. With a huge patio area with large TV's outside

The bbq was great. Not the best though. The chicken was the best. The pizza with the fresh garden veggies was delicious.
I love the garden on site that they use for their pizza and garnishes.
I'll definitely be returning!!

You people who complained about this place obviously have no idea where you are eating! BBQ isn't fancy, it's all about the flavor, and believe me when I say, this place has thee BEST, BEST, BEST, baby back ribs and coleslaw is like a dessert! If you haven't been here, it's great if you get the ribs, I haven't had anything else yet so that's all I can comment on!

Food was good, not exceptional-my only complaint was the meat was a little dry but the BBQ sauce provided helped a lot. I LOVE the atmosphere and decor and it's cafeteria style which gives it a more fast food feel. Kid friendly-big plus! Overall I will definitely be coming back!

The three meat meal is great! The macaroni is great! The corn muffins have jalapenos but are not spicy and taste great! Baked potato is good. Kids meal pulled pork is awesome, but do not repeat do not order the kids brisket sandwich it is not good. Restaurant is empty and too quiet. Ambiance is pretty lame and there are no appetisers. Looks like a 1980s Cowboys apartment. Bottom line is if you can stand a total lack of ambiance the food is really good. Restaurant as far as a building looks like and old falling apart one, even though it was just built. Order to go and you'll be happy.
