Caldwell County BBQ at Pecan Lake

This place will knock your socks off, and maybe even your shirt too. From the juicy brisket to the ambiance, the place is a hit! A hidden gem most people don’t know about is the Escape Rooms located inside on the second floor.

The food was delicious, and the staff was super friendly, but it's a maze trying to find your way into the restaurant with all the construction going on. My advice if you're heading over is to park in the first parking lot near the entrance signs for Pecan Lake and follow the signs around the wood and the smokers to the front of the restaurant. They have a guy sitting there in a golf cart to take people to their cars if needed. Other than that, it's a great place to take the kids, and there are lots of tables to sit outside. Enjoy!

Fantastic new location! We were very excited to come see and try out the new location, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is big with a ton of seating inside and out. Great service as usual, too. The food was amazing! We ordered the Family Meal with pulled pork, brisket, ribs, corn casserole, and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and so well made. It's worth the trip alone! You have to try all the sauces too - each one is uniquely good!
The grounds are awesome, and I can't wait for it to all be built up. Sit outside to see the massive jumbo screen TV or watch people do the ropes course. Overall, excellent location with even better BBQ. Will definitely be back!

We were impressed with Caldwell BBQ from the first visit at their original location. The new location is impressive in size and entertainment options. The food, as always, is amazing. It has an upscale Rudy's BBQ feel. The music is very loud and a bit overwhelming. The staff was helpful and attentive.

The line was out the door but definitely worth the wait. We had we had the family meal for four it included brisket, pulled pork, what two sides we chose the mac and cheese and the potato salad and added a side of baked beans all of them were great. We added the sausage along with the meats it was awesome. Great customer service great atmosphere all in all a joyous evening for all. If you ever visit ask for Ben he was beyond awesome treated us like family.
