Zipps Sports Grill

Nice late evening 8 to12 happy hour every night and a good 4 to 7 happy hour. Nearby Clancy's is more of a "local" and gives them a run for their money in terms of food quality although Zipp's variety is better. Marked down for patio that is not dog friendly.

The past couple weeks we have gone on Friday and it was very busy, but even with the busy restaurant we got decent service. We didn't seem to be forgotten or left waiting too long. On one or two occasions we did need some assistance, but the server did not return timely so we just let it go by the time she came around. But for the most part, I feel with volume of customers in the facility, the service was adequate. Not a big fan of them charging for every little side that you get.

I'm a door dash delivery driver, and I was waiting one hour and thirty minutes on two items: Fish and Chips and a kid's chicken tender meal. I understand being busy especially over Superbowl weekend. The order ended up being cancelled by the customer because they were tired of the wait. They sounded just as if not more frustrated by this wait.

The wait staff is great, kind, and helpful. The bar staff just as much. I'm sure under different circumstances I wouldn't be giving this review. The polite and calm staff are the only reason I'm giving them more than one star.

Very polite wait staff. Only draw back is space when it gets crowded and when outside need more space heaters. Menu is sports bar appropriate. Crowd is pretty mellow. Location is good and right off the street.
