Outstanding service and outstanding food. The food was very well-balanced in flavor unlike some Chinese restaurants that you go to. nothing was too salty nothing was too spicy the sweet and sour soup was outstanding. Management and the whole staff was great. you could tell that everybody was happy with their job and what they do.
I love this place. I've been coming here for twenty years and the service and quality is always exceptional. A jem in the neighborhood :-)
Best Chinese restaurant around. Wish we had a location in Peoria. Prices have gone up but is still a popular, busy restaurant at two locations. Love the eggplant stuffed with shrimp and cashew chicken. Would get five stars if wait staff was more attentive.
When I go here I usually get the Mongolian beef, but this time I saw on the menu that they had Mongolian chicken. I ordered that and oh my goodness it was so delicious. The best thing I ever had. I like that you get soup, (egg drop is the best) and an egg roll and crab puff with your lunch. Thank you.
The food is great as usual! Egg drop soup is a must try here, it is done very well. The New York egg roll is a good follow up to the soup as it brings the crisp taste of a usual egg roll, the contents of which are different from others I've had with the miniature shrimp and lettuce which seem fresh. The entree I chose is the sweet and sour. Basic yet made quite different than most others. It's just something you would have to judge yourself. The chicken is cooked well with a crisp outer layer which I can say is the best way to make the chicken for this dish. Service is good. All I can say is that we waited a bit of time between our dishes but I won't judge to harshly as from previous visits service was better. I think its mainly where you are seated. I would recommend requesting a table or booth on either wing of the restaurant and try to stay away from the booths up the stairs toward the back for the best experience. The back booths are okay but you sink when u sit in them and it's kind of uncomfortable.
