Sweet Republic

Stopped by here while we were in town on vacation. Great place for ice cream and sundaes! My wife and I split the smores sundae. Perfect size for the two of us. The torch toasted marshmallow was pretty special. Definitely worth checking out!

AMAZING ice cream shop for fresh and creative treats. The shop is up on the second floor and has indoor and outdoor seating. The flavors rotate, but there are some staples. Staff are pretty understanding about wanting to sample 10 different things, likely due to some of the concoctions they sell. You do not need a special occasion to justify coming in, just do it. You'll be very happy you did, promise.

I love the care and thoughtfulness that goes into every creation. They knew I wanted a campfire S'mores but needed it in a more portable version. This didn't disappoint! I absolutely love the hand made Marshmallows and the crisp shell they put on it. The whipped topping is also just delightful. I did two scoops of brownie and one chocolate. It was perfect! Just what I needed.

BEST ICE CREAM

I was visiting this area from Chicago and i found this ice cream place on Yelp as my friend wanted to try some really good dessert place.

We drove to Sweet Republic and i simply asked the girl taking the orders that whats your best ice cream and she said - brownie fudge and i tasted it and i liked. I ordered it and when she was making my order, she asked any toppings and i was still looking and thinking- she says marshmallow would go best with it.

She used the flame torch for the marshmallow and guess what - it turned out very good. The ice cream eaten with the marshmallow was super amazing.

Definitely a place to try

They have seating inside and outside as well. And i liked the orange color theme of the place.

Very cute little spot! Not too pricey either. My kids both had two scoops in a cup and I chose a single scoop waffle cone, spent about $15. Great flavors, not a huge choice but enough to find something yummy. Staff was super friendly and we were taken care of right away.
