Taj Mahal Restaurant & Lounge

I’ve seen this place several times and wanted to come here for a very long time. I finally did and I’m happy I did
Went on a Saturday (5pm) there was no wait We were seated immediately
The service by waiters and staff was amazing !! They all had smiles and great customer service skills.
The food did take about 15-20 minutes to come out ( no problem just don’t come here and try and rush them)
The food was made to order. It was hot and good. My only complaints are my spice level (medium hot) was lacking in spice as was my partners (we both ordered different plates)
The environment was great !!
Overall good food ! Great service ! I recommend getting a higher level spice than what you usually get it’s a little bland (caution though it may have just been that day)
There is parking in front too or in the garage down the road (.2milesaway)

Insanely delicious traditional Indian food that is just amazing. Everything is incredibly flavorful and portions are big. I've dined in this place about a dozen times and have ordered take out at least 73 times. Veronica and Freddy are the best and all of the staff is so friendly and helpful. 11/10 would recommend.

Great staff and amazing food!

My wife and I were planning to do dinner here while visiting AZ and ended up due to time just grabbing drinks and appetizers, our waiter was very knowledgeable and recommended some great food pairings. We ended up getting a few types of naan with different chutneys and some vegetable samosas.

I would love to come back and try more offerings. Great date night or interment atmosphere for a quite relaxing dinner.

Food was decent, took some time to bring it in. Ordered gobi manchurian, chicken tikka, paneer masala, bullet naan and taj naan. The bullet naan was quite dry and wasn’t all that spicy. I liked the curry, decent portion size. Gobi manchurian had a strong turmeric flavor, not at all what I expected from the dish. Overpriced for the quality and quantity.

Great Indian food. The mixed vegetable appetizer is great! I had Shrimp Marsala, Mild-Medium heat...could have medium+. Th3 Naan is amazing. Super friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere is laid back in a great space in Old Town.
