The Mexicano

We've been to The Mexicano on several occasions and always enjoy it. Last Friday, we had family in from Colorado and they were looking for awesome Mexican food. We know there's no better place in the Valley than here! We sat on their awesome patio on a perfect afternoon and were well taken care of by our waitperson Anna. She did a terrific job and the food and drinks were amazing. The desserts were memorable, too! Dominic stopped by the table as well. Everyone felt welcomed and appreciated and we all had a great time. We love this place and are thankful we live close by. They are truly a needed addition to the neighborhood. The restaurant is tucked in a parking lot were you need to walk around the building to enter the restaurant. Once you enter, you are sent to a beautiful Mexican coastal town. The restaurant is gorgeous with an open kitchen. The star of the restaurant is a make your own margarita bar!!!! Yes, I said that!! The food was delicious too. We were guided on this experience by a bartender named Sydney, highly recommend asking for her for your experience here

Steak fajitas were very good...meat could have been a bit more tender and thinly sliced for fajitas. Prefer regular flour tortillas...

Presentation was outstanding. Staff was extremely attentive and took care of a situation we had with our chips. We ordered guacamole...good but lacked some zip!!! Ambience absolutely great.... definitely will return!!!

This place has a very easy and laid back vibe. The staff are super friendly and helpful. One of the supervisors even took the time to check in on us during a busy Friday night. The food and margaritas have a good flavor, above average for what you’d expect for this type of restaurant. There will be a little bit of a wait if you go during peak hours, to get seated and possibly for your order. They get busy! The music can also be a bit loud for conversation but it is upbeat and fits the mood. Over all, The Mexicano has a fun, festive atmosphere for a drink after work with friends or birthday celebrations.

Great atmosphere and food. Domenic, the manager, was very attentive during our lunch service. Brandon was our waiter and was very helpful as well. He gave some great tips for ordering. The Mexicano is truly a unique Mexican cuisine experience. A lot of one of a kind dishes. I will be going back very soon to try some more items!!
