Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Had lunch w/ friends for birthday, 5 us us went. We had a quick Sitting, we had made reservations, but they said that they did not have them. My suggestion is is that when you make reservations to make sure that it is for this location and not the one in Peoria. The appetizers were good the lobster queso I thought was the best.
These cilantro, lime chicken, I think could have used a little bit more of the purée that they added to it. The potatoes seemed a little dry, the fresh vegetables were really good. I think that they could probably use just a little bit more time in between each of the courses since we did the three-course meal. Just make sure on your check that everything rings up as the three-course meal if multiple people get it, and not separate separate items. all in all, it was a pretty good trip and some good food. Those are just some of the smaller details that I would change.

My husband and I went for the first time to this new location last night. We shared the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak tasted OK but it was a bit too salty. We don’t feel it was worth $40. Next time we will try a different cut. We also got a side salad, and instead of the dressing that came with it we got a balsamic vinaigrette which was delicious. We both had the pineapple martini and it was very good. We sat outside because it was a beautiful evening and because inside the restaurant, it was packed and kind of noisy and not very relaxing in our opinion. The bar area was beautiful, but there were no seats available. I wish they would’ve had some music playing because the live music from Barrios was very loud. Our waitress Michelle was awesome! They have a happy hour. We will come back and try a few more things on the menu.

We enjoyed girls' day lunch for our birthday celebrations. Although they apparently don't recognize birthdays, except to wish us a Happy Birthday, we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunches. Waitress was attentive, food looked and tasted amazing. Salmon salad, Steak Sandwich and Shrimp Salad. I thought it might be a bit pricey, but quickly felt it WAS worth the couple extra dollars over more average places I've been. *****

The food was fantastic and the service slow. An entire table of four ordered and got their food before we even ordered so it could be our waitress was new and slower. I ordered the seared tuna superfoods salad. The tuna was fresh and perfect. My husband got the Buffalo chicken salad and enjoyed it. The sangria was great and my husband enjoyed the brunch Bloody Mary. One of the two toothpicks of garnishments was forgotten from his drink so the waitress brought it over with a napkin wrapped around the bottom of the toothpick. A plate would have been preferable since my husband was trying to grasp what was left of the toothpick without touching the garnishes! The restaurant is loud. It has a very open concept with little to dampen sound. I think this particular Firebirds could easily be a 5 star given enough time and once the wait staff is a little better trained.

Taylor was servicing our table tonight. She was welcoming, and I will request her service next week. Our friends were very impressed with the menu and cool vibe.
Our four meals were freshly prepared and food served piping hot. Rack of ribs with carrots were delicious. Scallops were exquisitely prepared.
Martini was on point made with house made blue cheese olives, absolutely delicious!! These olives should be on the menu as a secret item, no kidding, they were delicious. Overall exceptional food and great staff!!
