Tuk Tuk Thai - Thai Street Food (Oro Valley, AZ)

We’re big fans of the location on Campbell and were skeptical when we saw some bad reviews at this one. But we didn’t need to worry, it was GREAT. The staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The patio was so pleasant. Most importantly, the food was so freakin’ goooood. Tuk Tuk remains one of our absolute faves.

As for a review that mentioned a string / hair in the food, we’d bet that it was the end pieces of bean sprouts. There was a bunch in our dishes but we cook with it a lot so weren’t fazed.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking, good seating and nice clean tables. I'd give it better stars but I didn't like the food very much. My son had the pork & chicken skewers and I had the street shrimp and noodles. We had some kind of rice paper appetizers that I can't remember the name of. Prices were decent.

This place needs to improve on customer service. Ordered drinks but they arrived almost after we finished eating. The lady who was managing the bar did not apologize for the delay even though she wasn't doing much for 15 min or so that we were waiting. Definitely needs to improve efficiency and customer service
