Karichimaka Restaurant

I liked it. My dad worked there when he was 15, we went inside and the smile on his face made my whole meal 10x better. I got a red chili chimi it was huge and very crispy. The inside is pretty outdated but also oddly comforting.

I love this family owned restaurant. Mrs. Lopez, her son and the rest of the family give superior service. My family and I have been coming here for a number of years. We have never been disappointed. Our dinner is always fresh and hot. We always start with the cheese crisp with green chili and a side of guacamole. We have tried all the soups and nearly all the different food. I have only one thing to say- delicious!. I would recommend to everyone to come try their food. They are closed on Mondays. They also post in the summer time that they will be closed for a few weeks for vacation. They do not have any music, because they want you to enjoy a nice conversation while dining, instead of having to raise your voice over loud music.. Keep in mind this place is about 70 years old and still well kept and clean.

Sticklers is a great breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Phoenix. My favorite sandwich is the "traffic jam" which is roast beef, hap, turkey and salami with Swiss on your choice of French or Wheat bread. Last time I was in Angelita was super nice and friendly. Great service

Authentic Mexican food. Delicious flavor. I ordered the Taco salad it was Great. My Family and I were there with a Friend and His Wife from Germany. They Loved the food as well. Friendly and professional service also. Relax and enjoy Karichimaka.
