Subway

My favorite Subway. Polite people work here, prices after 5pm are reduced and very clean. Located on Wilmont just south of Golf Links.

Always here 1a or later and the overnight young men we have had are always friendly, accurate orders (and we have complicated ones sometimes) and quick. Great Subway

The employees at this Subway are some of the best in Tucson. They are fast and courteous and they are sandwhich artists! Nice job. Open 24 hours and drive thru!

It's a Subway. If you've never been, then that's just odd, but keep reading. If you have been, skip a paragraph or two. Subway is a sandwich/sub place where you get to more or less tell the staff how you want them to make it, plus they offer a few other items, like salads, etc. I personally like Subway, but they're not as good in my opinion as, say, Jimmy John's. But that's just me, I know plenty of people who disagree. If you don't know if you like it or not, you'll just have to try.

If you're concerned about patronizing local shops, but you want the convenience of a chain, go to Eegee's. If you really want local, or if you're into fancier food, go to Beyond Bread or Baggin's.

Anyway, if you've had Subway before, then pick up here. This particular restaurant is nice and clean (though the roof appeared to be leaking during my last visit), the staff is pretty friendly and have been for a while. Props to the sandwich makers for doing their thing, but also to management who at least appear to care enough to keep it this way.

Interestingly, this location also has a drive through. I've never used it myself, since the production arrangement doesn't feel conducive to that kind of ordering, but hey, it's there if you want to give it a go.
