This was our first experience eating out after the pandemic shelter in place. We are so glad we came here. The food was exquisite, the waiter (Sandeep) so polite and we felt safely accommodated by being sat on patio away from others and by him wearing mask and gloves to serve our food. Perfect!
Four of us visited Tamarind for the first time a few nights ago. We were not disappointed! The menu has so many good-looking dishes and each of us ordered something different. We were all very pleased with our choices. I had a vegetarian curry and it was outstanding. The servings are ample and the prices are very reasonable. We are going to check out their mid-day buffet soon. One word of caution. If your order offers a choice of mild, medium, or hot, be aware that HOT is HOT - Asian hot is hotter than Mexican hot.
What a great restaurant, from the very personable and knowledgeable owner, Arthur, to the amazingly delicious food. The restaurant is super clean and couldn’t say more about the food. We had the Tandoori mix, with Korma and butter chicken and an order of garlic naan and samosas. The prices are also very reasonable. Will definitely be returning...looking forward to trying the lunch buffet.
First time ever trying this place out. Sunday night, right after they opened for the dinner shift. I was impressed with how clean the place was. The layout is open and flows very well. You won't feel squeezed in no matter where you're seated. The bench seats and chairs are more comfortable than most places I've eaten at. Service was great and Andrew was wonderfully helpful and patient. They don't skimp on the rum and even though there place wasn't packed (Sunday night at 5:30) Andrew didn't come to the table more than what is normal. The food was delicious and I'm not a huge fan of Indian food. The price point for dinner is about 12-18 bucks depending on what you order. I will be going back in the future to try more things because while I've not liked Indian food in the past, this place offers the option for "very mild" on it's spices. It allows me to get the tame versions and my partner to get the melt your face off stuff that he likes. It's a nice date night dinner place in jeans or in a dress. The lunch buffet looks like a great option to try this place out if you've never been before.
Went for take away dinner, and let me tell you, you will not be disappointed! First of all, when you pull into this place it is absolutely beautiful, the landscape in very inviting. Inside the restaurant you truly feel like you are dueling into an authentic Indian restaurant in India! The spiciness is not overwhelming, the food is incredibly delicious and the Naan, oh my God! You will not be disappointed. The portions are generous!
