We are from Chicago and this was our first visit here. People are very friendly and they love to dance. We took a couple of lessons beforehand and bought boots and had fun dancing here. Live band was very good. Worth going for Dan ing and atmosphere

Nice clean place, quiet enough so a group of 6 could hear the conversation. The food was overall well prepared and the serving size was larger than necessary, but the price was also. Our server was very busy but managed to get our orders correct and served at the same time. She also kept tabs on our drinks very well and touched base regularly to see if we needed anything else. All in all and good restaurant experience.

Mixed feelings about this place. Many people when looking for a country dance experience may seek a rustic atmosphere. This aint it! Modern, almost technical glitz, with the price tag to accompany.
    PROS:
    1) Menu. Many good choices. However, Mac and cheese and steamed veggies were ridiculously salty. Cowboy beans and ribs were top notch.
    2) They teach VERY limited line dance on Wed's (2 songs).
    3) One of the most fast and efficient wait staff we've ever seen anywhere. She was like a hospitality ninja. Wish I remembered her name.
    4) Diverse crowd. This was good to see. All were friendly.
    5) Rumor has it they are moving to a larger place. Hoping the dance floor will be at least triple the size of the current one, if considering returning.

    CONS:
    1) Packed dance floor on a Wed. Others constantly bumping into you, even if you are conscientious about personal space. SO obnoxious.
    2) Primarily a western wear type of dance establishment. My jazz shoes are easier to wear than boots.
    3) Line dance instructor not prepared for lesson (didn't know the counts to the line dance being taught, seriously).
    4) Mostly under 35 crowd.
    5) Music WAY TOO LOUD. Can't hear a thing anyone says to you. This is what they want, so you'll buy drinks instead (this is a proven fact in night clubs). If you want your hearing compromised. This is the place Bring ear plugs and don't plan on any conversations once the music starts.

Other country night clubs in town have a more traditional country, rustic feel with high quality dance instruction that's easy to follow and a diverse crowd,. Your neighbor also understands personal space at the other places.
