The pizza here is excellent! I ordered a gluten free of the prosciutto, fig, and arugula. I honestly have no idea how they pulled off such a delicious and thick GF crust! Keep up the awesome eats, Transplant!
Just tried the double pepperoni pizza and it's soooo delicious! Love the crispiness in both the crust and the top. Shredded cheese at the end was a nice touch. I don't really know what Detroit style pizza is... but I recently moved here from New York/Brooklyn and was hoping to find a good local pizza place, this place is definitely it! Easy online ordering and fast service at lunchtime. Can't wait to go back and try the elite pizza. It was so delicious I forgot to take a photo 🤣😝
The gluten free pizza crust makes my heart so happy! It tastes like real pizza I used to enjoy before I became gluten intolerant. The team has been perfecting the crust since they opened, and I absolutely love that they didn't just stop at having a gluten free option, but made sure to offer an amazingly delicious gluten free option!
Absolutely loved the pesto ranch!!!! And the fries were phenomenal. I loved how crisp the dough was, and it was both filling but light on the stomach. I really loved it, and I cannot wait to return. :) One of the best pizza places in Tucson.
Transplant has a cool location, delicious pizza and the adjacent Craft has great beer and cool video games.
Service, however, isn't always the best. Last night they lost our dine in pizza order and the same thing happened to the couple next to us.
After sitting there with an Order Number sign on our table for an hour we had to go ask where our pizza was. They gave us someone else's to go order, without any apologies or offer of compensation. I wouldn't expect free food in this scenario, but an 'I'm Sorry' wouldn't have been out of place.
Also Craft charges double for beer consumed on the premises vs take out. Seems odd, but whatever.
We enjoyed the food and ambiance, but the Customer Service was a bit lacking. The pizza is good enough that we'll be back to give them one last shot.
