Melio's is one of our favorite AZ treasures. I usually avoid ordering lasagna because it's such a heavy meal. This is not the case at Melio's. The pasta, meat sauce and cheese are perfectly proportioned. I even had room for a special strawberry cake made with Prosecco. This was so light and full of flavor. I love the decor and view of the Santa Rita mountains too. Go check it out.
First time ...food was really good. Service exceptional. The arugala, pine nut and beet salad was perfect. Hubby had lasagna and I had angel hair pasta, clams in white wine and butter. House Cabernet was light body but very drinkable. We will go back!

They make most of their own pasta, sauces, and homemade desserts that are amazing. The atmosphere is just so quaint. The Santa Rita Mountain view from their windows is breathtaking. It is one of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend Melio's.
What a find! Just outside Tubac, this is a gem with a beautiful view and amazing homemade-everything Italian food. The Caprese salad, eggplant parmesan, Roman pizzas and homemade gelato are must-haves! It offered great value, friendly staff and laid-back vibe at lunch.
We went looking for a place to have lunch in Tubac but due to the art festival, everywhere was packed. Luckily we kept going and stumbled on Melio's. The ambiance is magical, with a lovely terrace, beautiful view of the mountains and quirky decor. But the food is the real star of the show. The owner chef is from Rome and every ingredient is homemade, down to the tomato sauce on the pizzas.
Maybe the best eggplant parmesan I've ever had and the double chocolate chip pecan fig gelato was to die for.
