Rock Springs Café

They have good food, farm-style atmosphere, homemade fudge, jam, and a cute little store upstairs. They are known for their pies being the best, and they have several kinds. It is a nice stop along the I-17 Black Canyon City.

Awesome place to stop for food, pie, souvenir items or just walk around. Dinner was lovely - everything was made from scratch and tasted delicious. Our server was great with us and the pups and even brought them water bowls with ice. My friends swear by the pies. Will be back!

Wow! Loved their gravy. It was full of flavor, thick texture and lots of meat. We had a very delicious breakfast and great service. The chicken fried steak was perfect. I’m very picky when it comes to the meat and this was great. Nice mild meat flavor and not full of gristle. Nice size portions and a fair price.

Sunday afternoon: breezy, cloudy and a chance of rain, tail to tail traffic and the end of Spring Break and yet... We found parking, ease in registering at the host station and a shorter than expected wait! Great food (ribs falling off the bone, smoked pork Reuben) personable service and a range of preserves to tempt anyone made for a delightful dining experience. Add in trails, waterfalls, giant boots, a trading post rock store and pies to make you hummmm and the Rock Springs Cafe is a destination all by itself!
