“Wow! Loved their gravy. It was full of flavor, thick texture and lots of meat. We had a very delicious breakfast and great service. The chicken fried steak was perfect. I’m very picky when it comes to the meat and this was great. Nice mild meat flavor and not full of gristle. Nice size portions and a fair price.”

“Breakfast here is always a treat. This past weekend I brought my family here while on our way north from Phoenix. I knew my daughters wouldn't be able to resist the homemade toast with homemade apple butter. This is a real treat, and I always order a side of toast and apple butter. Bridgette and Lenny are so friendly. The only time you are a stranger is the first time you come to visit; after that you are a part of the family. If there is not an empty table, then pick an empty seat at a table where there are other people and introduce yourself. If you need more coffee, just give the pig on the table a squeeze, and Bridgette will bring you more coffee. This is just the classic type of Arizona hospitality for which the West was won!”

“We heard from a few friends how good Chilleen's event was so when we had the opportunity to drive through Black canyon City returned off and stopped in for a bite to eat. The food was excellent! The waitress was friendly! As we were leaving we asked if we could see the banquet area of the restaurant and it was beautiful. We decided to ask about wedding information and they gave us a VIP experience we even or offered a sample of their food they serve during the wedding. It gave us a whole new world of possibilities! Even though it wasn't his job, I want to thank Jeff for giving us the information we needed. He did a fabulous job! We will definitely be back!”

“This place is so great! The food is delicious (and pretty!) Coffee is fresh and great! The employees are more than friendly. Prices are inexpensive. Such a cute little place in the middle of a cute little town. We stopped in on our way to the Grand Canyon from southern AZ. I highly recommend it!”

“Excellent burgers! 1st time customer, was greeted by a friendly waitress (with her mask on), food was hot and delicious ?. Only complaint is it was a bit of a wait for our food (30 minutes). But it was freshly made, excellent grilled taste!”
