Stopped for lunch while out on a motorcycle ride. Great food & staff. 1st time there but felt right at home. Our bartender/server was wonderful!!
We always enjoy G's Burgers! Great friendly service and delicious food! There is one waiter who, even though we only visit once a year, remembers us all 6 of us individually and makes us each feel special and welcome! Thanks for the excellent experience!
I moved to cottonwood about 4 months ago. And have been out burger hunting
Here and there to see who makes the best REAL BURGERS. I was tipped off about this place by a local. Was so excited to try this talked about burger place.
And to my surprise the burger I got was a disgrace to burgers. Literally the worst burger I’ve ever had.
The lettuce is terrible,
the patty was small and over cooked and flavorless . The most basic burger ever.
I didn’t even finish it I was so disappointed.
What I really think was missing was heart or soul in the food. Plus that cheap coleslaw looking lettuce has to go.
So for a positive. Other than the shameful burger.
The staff was great and it’s a decent little joint to have a beer or a shot.
Just watch out for the tables . They are super sticky and greasy.
But if the burger was exceptional.
Could of been 5 stars .
This may seem like a rude post but I feel it’s important businesses hear the bad so they can improve and adjust.
A surprising must-stop on the way from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix! Just 10 minutes off the main road, but SO worth it!
Great value, great counter service, clean dining room!
We enjoyed the original G’s Burger, the Breakfast Burger (no onions), and a side of fries! I don’t know how they do it, but I said “this is the lightest burger I’ve ever had”. All the ingredients were perfectly portioned, the bun lightly toasted, the burger not too thin but not too thick with the perfect crispy griddle taste, AND it had a little pink in the middle! 🙌
PS: the house made ranch is drinkable—and that’s a huge compliment from a Midwesterner.
We highly recommend, and hope to be back someday! “Best Burger in the Verde Valley”… we approve!
G's are the best burgers in Arizona! Creative toppings, juicy patties, and a side of fries...no wonder it was so crowded here on a recent Friday at lunchtime. They offer other sandwiches and salads, as well. If you're lucky, you'll score a seat at the bar, but there's plenty of tables inside and out. Rustic atmosphere and efficient, friendly staff make this a fun, casual meal.
