I'm in love with Vince's! The food is amazing, by far the best Italian I've ever had. Everything is clearly homemade and tastes heavenly. We discovered this little gem after a wine tasting trip a few months ago and I'm so glad we did! This is now our must-have dinner stop when we visit the area!
The service was great, the food was excellent, and it's quaintly Italian (very clean with cotton tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables) inside. The prices are about what you would expect for the high quality of the food. We went when it opened at 4:30pm on a Tuesday and were the first ones there, but by the time we left it was really quite busy. And it was bigger than we expected based on what we saw from the road too.
My husband got the chicken parmigiana and I got the pasta with clams, and both came with bread and a choice of soup or salad. We also got the cheese bread as an appetizer, which I recommend if you are hungry because it takes a moment to get your food since everything is made as ordered.
We have driven by this easily missed place many, many times before deciding We'll definitely be back to this wonderful hidden-in-plain-site gem!
This place is authentic and some of the best food and service I have ever had!
Handmade everything! Sauce, bread, spumoni, sausage, meatballs, pizza dough.... all the real deal. Owner is the cook and he inherited the recipes from his dad. Been around for decades and still GREAT food. Not a fast food joint, this is the kind of place you meet friends and talk happily for hours while eating, eating, eating. The best kind of place, the kind of place people talk about being in the old neighborhood when "things were done the right way." Yeah, you can get takeout but why? when you can relax and enjoy drifting along, treating simple food brilliantly prepared with the attention it deserves.
Vince's is the epitome of a neighborhood restaurant. I have never had a disappointing meal there, and I have been going for years. Their food is luscious, and the desserts are wonderful. I have taken friends and students there, and everyone is always delighted. Thank you for such a wonderful family restaurant! Oh...and you need to make reservations!
