Up the Creek Bistro Wine Bar

After a great day of stream fishing, we decided to hit up this cute little place right by the creek! We were greeted promptly and seated in a beautiful room with a great view of the trees and the river below. The food was also very good although slightly high priced. Service was a little on the slow side although the one waitress for our entire room was really doing the best she could.

Excellent food , I ordered the shrimp starter ( very tasty ) my spouse the cheese burger & coleslaw. Very nice . Really liked the coleslaw.
Service was friendly & welcoming!
Will come bake for dinner !

Great location with wildlife along the creek.
Haven't been in a few years and then I remembered It was only an all around good experience, not great.
Food & service was good.
Just a little above average but for sure nothing special. Owner/chef was more interested in trying to impress guests with his mediocre piano skills. Bottom line as with many things in life,
really hard to do 2 things really well especially in the restaurant business.

We stopped here yesterday on our way back from Flagstaff. Staff were wearing masks, tables were distanced, and our waitress was so pleasant and helpful. That's 5 stars for us right there. We were seated by the window looking out onto the creek and its activity, ducks gently showing off their form . Numerous bird feeders were hanging from the restaurant/winery as well as nearby trees. It was so peaceful watching the finches, red winged blackbirds, and others. Hummingbirds were even feeding. The food was plentiful, beautifully plated, and soooo delicious. We shared a decadent chocolate torte. Yum! This is definitely a place worth your stop.
