My first visit today, but not my last. The falafel appetizer was more than enough for a lunch. Pitas were soft and very hot. Good tzatziki.
The food here was ok. I had the gyro sandwich. The bread was fresh and tasted pretty good overall. My wife had the garlic chicken plate. There were a few fresh tomato pieces but the rest of the tomatoes looked and tasted like canned tomatoes. My wife won't go back, I may give it another shot. My advice to them would be use more fresh veggies and dish out larger portions of meat. We both left there still feeling hungry.
GREAT food!! Had a classic gyro & dolmas. They definitely are not skimpy on meat portions like some I have encountered. Awesome service/staff as well!!
We've been coming here every once in a while since they opened and have never had a bad experience. Really nice to grab some gyros and split an order of the greek fries. The gyro meat is so flavorful! It's a take out only place but they wrap the gyros in foil to help keep them warm. Staff is always friendly.
This was my $9 Gyro.
No fries.
The limp white onion (why not purple?) was so strong it was overpowering.... And I generally like onion.
The taziki was spread so thin on the bottom it was almost non-existent.
No cucumbers and two sad almost inedible soft mushy tomato wedges.
The meat was good and there was plenty of it. The pita was warm and soft. So that was good.
All in all....they're either cutting corners because they're the only place in town and they just figure people will keep coming back or they legitimately don't know what an actual $9 Gyro should be.
I was a bit disappointed.
I might go back, maybe it was an off day. I think the best option would be just to buy a pound of their meat and go home and make your own gyro.
