Uncle Bud's Place

Absolutely the best BBQ in Arizona, actually the best BBQ I've ever had and I've been around the country and the world. Most places ruin BBQ by just doing the same thing following every other BBQ place it all starts to taste the same. Chris the master Chef & owner at Uncle Bud's did his own thing, he's a trailblazer, his choice meat isn't the same old Brisket he's perfected BBQ by using smoked chuck roast blazed with his own BBQ sauce which is the sign of a true master of meats. You really need to try this place everything he makes is his own family recipes, his dad face is on the logo. I'm serious when I tell yous you won't be disappointed by anything you eat here unless you're a Dishonest person. The owner Chris is a stand up guy, he's friendly and respectable, and his food is absolutely delicious you won't be disappointed...Uncle Bud's in Prescott Arizona just off the 69 is the place for the best BBQ anywhere.

This was a lucky find. Everything on the menu looked great. I had the Triple Smoked Pork Cherry Bomb with red beans and rice and it was delicious. I wanted to go back the next day, but had plans. Regardless, I will go back the next time I'm in Prescott.

The staff rocks and they have the most delicious, comforting food ever! We tried the jambalaya and spicy sausage!! We will definitely be back to try other savory dishes!!

We've been in the Prescott area for about 3 weeks and Uncle Bud's has been the most amazing food we've had yet. The restaurant is small, but the flavor is huge. I had a Bud's Bowl which has a bed of smoked smashed potatoes accompanied by your choice of meat. I chose the smoked chuck roast and spicy Cajun sausage. Then you choose your topping which can be cheese sauce, gravy or one other thing. This is then topped with bacon, chives and shredded cheese. It was incredible. My wife had the smoked meat loaf. Also fantastic. We finished our meal with their bread pudding. You can have either a vanilla or bourbon sauce on it. We both preferred the bourbon. The service was wonderful. There is plenty of parking but this would not be a good place for a group, howver, they have takeout!

This place is a hidden gem! Just went for the 2nd time with my son and it was delicious! I highly recommend the chuck roast and baby back ribs. The meat is very tender and the smoked flavors are excellent! Everyone is very friendly and portions are generous so you have leftovers too. Definitely try the smoked mashed potatoes for a side!
