Butterfly Burger

We stopped in on a Monday late afternoon and there weren’t many patrons at the time so we sat at the bar. What a great choice, our bartender Elijah was very knowledgeable and tolerated my bourbon “snob” of a husband 😁. He was engaging, made a heck of a Manhattan and was personable, attentive and hardworking… I appreciated his clean bar and willingness to help all the staff. They all worked as a unit.
Now onto the food… DELICIOUS! My husband and I are both originally from the Midwest so it’s hard to impress us with a ‘burger’, but impressed we were. The beef was amazing, tender and the flavors were very developed. And who knew charred ketchup could be that amazing… all burger buddies that we had were equally as tasty.
I would highly recommend the food, staff and ambiance.

Best burger I’ve had in years. Crusty outside with a soft, textured middle and plenty of flavor to boot. The spicy pickles added a nice surprise. The side selection was a little unorthodox, but forced some at the table to try something beyond fries. Service was top notch. A great dining experience for the money.

They didn't have any of the beers we asked for and our bill was $70 and they couldn't break a $100 bill. The burger and potato salad was delicious, though! The waitress seemed to be in a hurry (it wasn't terribly busy and there were other waitresses). My husband ordered a beer (after we'd tried to order others that they didn't have) and it didn't come until after our meal came. Just not a terribly good experience.
We went again on a Monday night and the atmosphere was so much better! Sat at the bar and the bartender was great! The burger was amazing! MUCH better experience!
