Wait staff was friendly and helpful but after we placed our order I could audibly hear the person in the back who was preparing our food cursing 🤬 at the waitress Regina telling her he didn't want to prepare the two skewer chicken yakatori we ordered.He changed the wait time 3 times. The last time he told her he was going to cook it right.He yelled at her and asked her if she was going to tell us or he would come out and say it.
I Guess he is the only person working the line cooking. There are 3 tables ahead of us so we will see how long it takes.
The place is quaint, the sushi chef is nice. The place is older or they fry a lot if things because it smells of old frying oil
Hopefully they get the kitchen chef some help because I am terribly concerned about the food we ordered. My husband is an Asian food junkie so he is willing to risk it.
He did address it with the waitress and the chef listened in.

The most enjoyable and authentic sushi restaurant experience in the area! The presentation and ambiance for the meal is clean and cozy. Great, quality sushi that tastes fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a local favorite!

The best Sushi in Sedona. Fresh and simple. No mayo, thankfully! Sushi chef is cool, fun to talk with. Great prices too. You'll really enjoy the food and service!
