“Update: 2 years later and I still love this place. They are open up again (finally!). They have implemented the mask policy (when not at table), taking temperature when entering, and distancing practices to separate customers. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great breakfast! I recommend this place to anyone who is going to be in the area. I come here at least 1-2 times a week whenever I am in town. Definitely not a polished fancy restaurant, but has a great home/family environment. Food is delicious and a good price.”

“Had lunch with friends after visiting the Paton Hummingbird center, made for a lovely day. They were busy at the restaurant, but food was delicious (I had the loaded veggie salad with black bean hummus....YUM). Dessert was the huge oatmeal raisin cookie (with white chocolate chips). “Great family owned small town diner. A bit on the rustic kitchy side bit that's what makes the atmosphere so perfect. The place is impeccably clean (my wife is an absolute nutter who looks at baseboards and air returns) and she was amazed at how spic and span everything was. Food was great too...clean and tasty, and really quick to come out. Husband and wife owners couldn't be nicer. BUT THE PIES!!!! OMG the pies are unbelievable. Careful because she only bakes a few per day, so get there early before they're gone. Life is short so eat pie for breakfast!!!”

It was more like a pudding filling, but home cooked, old fashioned style. I really don't have a sweet tooth, so we shared a piece, I really could have eaten my own, since I only ate half my sandwich. “8.8.21 Revisited this weekend and still impressed and my grandchildren agreed that it is much better than the Pine Country. Previous review: This was a shop for the Red Garter Saloon and hotel but was nicely converted to a restaurant. It was very busy but we were seated quickly. The service was great and the food was just as good. As far as cost it was more affordable than the Pine Country that we also frequent most regularly. Definitely will return.”

“Went into Williams, AZ. after a day at the Grand Canyon. The Pine Country Cafe was amazing. Had to have been the quickest service I've ever experienced. The staff we're very vigilant making sure that you had everything you needed. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, probably the best I've ever tasted. My buddy had the Fried Chicken, which he also said was probably the best he's ever had. Now the best part was the "Pies", fresh Banana Cream pie was amazing as was the crust. The only downside was that we wish we'd had more time to explore Williams, what a great looking town as seen from our car.”
