“What a great and random surprise! We are long haul truck drivers, pulled into town this morning looking for breakfast. Sal, the owner, greeted us immediately and made us feel at home. He took our coffee order as we browsed the merchandise, then his nephew Gregory made our coffee. He was great, even checking with us as to the temperature we wanted it served at. Coffee was great and they offer different premium options as well. My favorite part of the visit was realizing the building is haunted! When we walked in I thought it was, and that was confirmed as soon as I went into the restroom. I turned the light on and it immediately turned off. This happened two more times before it stayed on. After I came out, I asked Gregory who the ghost was in the restroom and he said he isn’t sure, but he and Sal agreed the building does seem haunted. The overall vibe is friendly (superb hospitality, I felt like I was visiting family), laid back and just a little ghostly. I strongly recommend a visit to anyone who lives in the area or who is passing through. I hope we are back through here soon so we can stop back in for a great cup of coffee, more browsing and hope for another ghost encounter! Best of luck with the new coffee shop guys!”

“A great little family-owned spot to visit while you’re in town. You’ll love the friendly service and the home-style cooking. I ordered the veggie omelet - packed with the right amount of veggies and cheese, delicious! Their biscuits and gravy are also mouth watering. They even had a case full of yummy chocolate covered treats. We took some chocolate covered strawberries and marshmallows to-go, which were a HUGE hit with the kiddos (and adults). We’ll be back again for sure!”

“3/28/22 @ 1:30 Went through drive through looking forward to getting a strawberry smoothie and got this instead, got a SLUSHY when I told the lady working this was not a smoothie she told me this is there new recipe to a smoothie. “Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. We got the Chile strip burger and the guacamole chicken sandwich. Both were great, and the tater tots were 💯. It was so good we got breakfast there, and everything was delicious. If you’re stopping here for the forest we would recommend grabbing food here. It’s a hole in the wall but probably the best about Holbrook proper (aside from the petrified wood!)”

“Both the hotel and restaurant are gorgeous examples of mission style architecture beautifully maintained and furnished. Something lovely catches your eye at every turn. The service was amazing, and the food superb. The soup was the best bite to date in our month-long ramble across country. Each side delicious alone, but to die for together. Silky texture, with just enough bite to offset the sweetness of the corn. Extensive wine list, with solid recommendations for pairings. Don’t pass this by!”
