“There was a 50 minute wait at Yutaka so we came here. No wait and the food was absolutely worth it. The nigiri was tender, the right temperature, and the rice was the perfect texture. Crab Rangoon were delicious though the sauce it came with was a touch too sweet for me. My wife's Spider roll was delicious and my Tonkatsu was 4.5 stars. I loved the broth, the chashu was second to none, and they have the mushrooms I love! I did feel my noodles were a touch overcooked and there were a lot of them. I personally prefer the bouncy egg noodles over the tender slippery noodles here. But the flavor more than makes up for it. One negative was that for as few customers as were present, the bathroom should have been much cleaner.”

“Luanas has my heart. Truly a hidden gem in Phoenix!! I’ve been getting coffee from Luanas ever since they were located on Bell Road with their little coffee stand. Then I moved and coincidentally they moved into a spot right around the corner from me and then they had to move again to the location they are at now. Over the years, they have been true to their word, honest to customers, slang the best food and drinks and never disappoint. You can come here for coffee, beers, cocktails, breakfast, lunch, dinner, to get work done, date spot, trivia and you’ll just enjoy it.”

“Most of the time I would give canes a 3 or 4 star, cause of just mediocre chicken and what not. But because this was the location that I compted my collection of Post Malone cups it will receive 5 stars. I love Posty so he is the reason. The food was also pretty good. It's a bit expensive and it's small chickens but other then that a wonderful place. And it's also ridiculous that I have to pay for extra canes sauce. But oh well.”

“I've been waiting and was super excited to try Eegee's! -House dressing on the side, is really good! -all ranches are on the better side of good -not a fan of crinkle fries - kids 2 tender meals were inconsistent in size/tender vs half pieces but chicken was good -bread was nice and fresh - tuna unexpectedly had sweet relish in it, not a complaint but not expected -meatball sub was double wrapped which was nice so it didn't leak -club sub, not my choice, but was really yummy -delux grinder was really good, actually very much the Italian sub I've been craving but didn't know where to get -the skinny berry eegee was great -the pineapple dream was to die for.. -pricing is very decent -would reorder everything I had, am excited to try even more. -appreciate the drink only escape lane from the drive thru -didn't like the long 10 minute wait behind another car when my online order said it was ready -while not perfect, I was very happy with all the food. -workers we're pleasant”

My only complaint is that it's in a heavy area of homelessness. Twice, I saw the homeless take the grub hub food from the stand. They need to watch that more. “I came here almost a year ago and couldn't believe the horrible, horrible service I received from the young man who was apparently the only person working. I walked up to the counter and he didn't even look up from his phone. When he finally did he looked at me like, why are you bothering me? I only needed something very basic like being rung up or something and he was so rude and argumentative,and aggressive, talking to me like a friend or worse, just like talking down to one of the people he saw in the hallway at school. It was very weird. Like I said, I needed very basic assistance, and I was being like, my normal self, I wasn't mad or anything, and he was aggressive to the point that I suspected he might become violent. I've never quite had an experience like that, and was kind of the beginning of seeing that customer service has died, and Gen Z is part of the reason why. I don't care if anyone finds that statement offensive, it's just what I believe. What kind of people take an actual person's name, and use it over and over to describe a person with "negative" characteristics, (simultaneously shaming them, judging them, condescending them for their feelings and opinions)? I think that's an incredible #$&?!@# shame. That should have NEVER been done, and it quite honestly sickens me. And who are YOU to decide what "negative" is, anyway? It's quite subjective. And I'm SHOCKED that you so vehemently view a person who expects good service as negative. 😂 I see over and over again how Gen Z treats people with disrespect, and are SO judgmental of people. And if that sounds judgmental (haha), it's supposed to be. Yes, I'm judging you for being judgmental. Turnabout is fair play. It's just so gross, and it's a pattern I see over and over again. This incessant judgment of everyone and everything, this laissez-faire attitude about their jobs, and disrespectful, rude treatment of people who are insignificant to them, bothering them, or are "in their way" to some degree. I recognize that they aren't all like this & and some of those people are even friends of mine. But it certainly seems like a (possibly overwhelming) majority. ;( I know this sounds like a bad review, but...recently I came here again and there were new people working who were actually quite nice. I inquired about ownership and management did, in fact, change recently. I'm really happy about that. I'm stunned that the previous managers were able to get away with hiring such incompetent, disrespectful, rude, and lazy people. I'm impressed when I see people who actually care about their jobs and actually TRY to help their patrons. That used to be a given and now it's like, absolutely earth-shattering and stunning when I come across it. So thank you for being kind and providing good service ! I was avoiding this place for awhile but I will be back again.”
