Had an early dinner (4pm) and had a great experience. Our waitress was great, the room festive and the fire place was great. I had the fried Turkey hit spot! Also the friendliest waitress we have ever had there.
Wish they would keep fries turkey year round ????
Also picked up a couple Christmas gifts ????
The food is amazing. And the wait staff is on point. An all around wonderful place to dine and have a grear experience. Shout out to Mary S. She's an excellent waitress!
This was my first time there so I didn't check out all the store. I ate in the restaurant and the food was up to my satisfaction. The only problems I had was the biscuits weren't fluffy enough and the butter was frozen when it made it on the table. I could not spread it like I wanted. From what I seen and observed about the place it was a country store with a restaurant to boot. The items were at a reasonable price. It was clean and the people were nice. I would recommend anyone who loves country cooking and a country feeling store to stop by for a bite or two. Might even buy a few memeorablia too.
The food was amazing, but service was a bit slow. Probably because of the huge numbers of people that visit this place! I'd say it's known for its Southern fried chicken. Best in the state! There's a large menu you can choose mains from and an even larger list of southern side dishes. The store has many trinkets and paraphernalia to browse through.
