Williams Famous Fried Chicken & Soul Food

1st time...been wanting to try since I have heard so many good reviews. Waitress was really nice but slow and kept forgetting the things she was supposed to bring us. I thought it was pricey, especially considering I thought it would be $38 and it was $50-- didn't get itemized bill so not really sure what was rung up and what price. Fried chicken was good, mashed potatoes were cold, husband had smothered porkchop, which he was excited about and it turned out to be a plate of bones--he kept spitting out bone after bone. Kid had chicken strips he said taste weird and fries that had too much pepper. I had my mind set on the dessert. We were there 1/2 way through business hours and they were already out of peach cobbler and banana pudding. Been there done that, not sure if we will be back.

The toya wings are amazing. Catfish and fries were really good. My wife loved her fried chicken and mashed potatoes.... But the best part is the deserts. Pecan Pie is some of the best I've ever had. Staff is really friendly, we will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Stopped in late. Bought the 3 piece chicken tender with fries. Had them put the garlic Parmesan sauce on the chicken. Excellent! Fries were seasoned nicely. Got chocolate cake for desert. Will definitely eat there again

I had today's special. Meatloaf. The meatloaf was delicious, I couldn't possibly have eaten the whole portion I was given. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and baked beans and corn bread. Most of those came home with me along with my chunk of meatloaf that I couldn't finish. Next time I am trying the fried chicken.
