“This is the best, down home place to eat! My husband and I stopped by on our way back to Missouri and we're thrilled with the food, prices, and friendly faces. Seriously, this place is a gem if you like real from-scratch country food and want to take a step back in time a little. The fried okra, country fried steak, coleslaw, dinner roll, and apple fried pie were all freshly made and ON POINT! Very cheerful atmosphere... The cook, Sam, was singing a bit in the back XD and our waitress was really friendly. They have a board on the wall of all their regulars from the past and present which I thought was so cool. I wish we had a place like this where we live. Next time we drive through the area we will be stopping in again!”

“Nothing fancy. Filled a hunger hole. Just got 2 cheeseburgers and gave the spicy nuggets a try. The spice kinda builds the more nuggets you eat. Basically, the breading is the spicy part, the meat is the same. Not too shabby but just Okay. Friendly staff. Fast service. Correct order.”

I also believe that Pablo is the best mexican restaurant operator in Boone county. We are always greeted with a smile and never have to ask for anything. “Due to covid, they close at 9 and I got there at 8. No worries, Heather was very sweet and let me sample all their local brews. I went with the Oktoberfest, it was very good. I ended up staying past 9 finishing my beer but Heather assured me I was fine. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because I reserve those for fresh mushrooms on the pizza. The pizza was still good though, cooked perfectly.”

“Went to Primos in April and really enjoyed the food. The Monster Burrito was fantastic. BUT went again in November and the Monster Burrito had shrunk by 1/3rd it's size. Asked if they had changed ownership and the waitress said they have. Well we will not be going back. Got one to go the last part of April it was in a foil pan, weighed it when I got home and it weighed TWO POUNDS.”

“I really like this store at the end they have an option to bring in your own bottles and fill them up with herbs and spices. I use to live in a city so there was a bulk store near by. It says they do have bulk, but it's packaged. The whole point of buying bulk at least for me is that I can bring in my own containers and bags to fill them up with grains. I don't know anyone here trying to do zero waste so I guess this is why I don't see bulk stores like I would in another state. I just hope they have more things available that include packaging that can be recycled more than once and less plastic packaging. Also maybe have products like bees wrap which replaces cling wrap. More eco friendly options. Overall I like this store it's heading in the right direction and I hope they can also take steps and encourage their shoppers to be more environmentally friendly.”
