Fat Boys

Second time visiting Fat Boys and it didn't disappoint. Got the chicken salad first time and chicken was fresh and cooked to perfection, in my opinion. Got the 3 piece catfish meal 2nd time. Large portion, took most of it home. Cole slaw and potato salad was so good and I'm picking about that. Seasoning on fish was good as well along with hushpuppies. Server and staff were quick and friendly.

I took our server's recommendation and got the pork loin. Boy was I glad I did! It was moist and flavorful and delicious. I got both gravy and ranch as sauces and it's hard to say which was better. Everything is made in house and the pork loin was like nothing I've ever had before. The staff is nice as can be and there's no way you could leave hungry.

Fat Boys was a beacon of light in a relatively dark area food-wise. Not to say there aren't other good places around Arkadelphia, but once we found Fat Boys we went back again and again! When you are traveling for work you usually want one of two things - 1) Amazing local food OR 2) something consistent. Fat Boys delivers both. Everything we ordered looked, smelled, and tasted homemade, from the fries to the catfish to the pork cutlets and BBQ. Is it the best BBQ brisket I've ever had? No, but it was juicy, tender and flavorful. We also went on Steak Night Tuesday and the 16oz. boneless Ribeye was pretty close to perfect. The food is prepared honestly without fuss and tasted great. HUGE portions for certain items (I think that's by design) and everything is priced fairly. If I ever come back to Arkadelphia, I will know where I'm going for dinner.

I don't write a lot of reviews but lunch today demands it. This place was AWESOME!! The pork BBQ sandwich was OUTSTANDING. Better than I've had in a long enough time that I don't remember any to rival it. Also, the mashed potatoes were GREAT!! Real mashes potatoes. Not from a bag. Seasoned just right.

This is the best lunch I've had in ages. My first time here and I definitely will be back with my family in tow.

So so good. Service was great. The food was amazing. If I could own my own restaurant, this is the restaurant I would design. Everything we had was great and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. If this place were near my home I’d weight 400 pounds.
