Mack's Fish House

We were hungry tourists hoping we had made a good choice, and we did! It started with a friendly greeting from the staff. Then a basket of yummy hush puppies was brought to our table. We ordered grilled fish plate and were directed to the bean bar! Don't miss the bean bar. Slow cooked pinto beans with sides of picked green tomatoes, a yummy first for me, Cole slaw, and red onions. I could have stopped there. The meal was good and the desserts very tempting. Ordered those to go!

I ordered the grilled salmon and it did not come with the saled bar, that was disappointing. The salmon lack the wild caught flavor and my veggies were kind of cold. Oh well. I did enjoy it and they were busy.

The food experience there was very enjoyable and i was not disappointed. After eating there i left my bag there and the manager and employees were very cooperative to get it me even while there we closed. Definitely will be going back, and i would recommend it to anyone in the area.

We had a friend visiting us from California so we went to have dinner at Mack's Fish House. We we greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in the door. Being Father's day weekend we expected a long wait but were quite surprised when we were seated immediately even though it was 5:30pm.

We ordered the fried catfish which came with a baked potato, coleslaw, beans, and hush puppies.

Our waitress Lindsey was very sweet and efficient. The food was served quickly and the meals really delivered! The catfish was really good, the coleslaw was tasty and the beans were so yummy!

It was our first time eating there and we highly recommend Mack's Fish House. We will definitely be back.
