Down home cooked food at reasonable prices and the waitresses are extra friendly!
Good good, reasonable prices, friendliest service. Great staff.
Very nice people and excellent service. The food was delicious, but about the same as other local diners. What stands out is the quality of specific items. We had breakfast here, and the chocolate gravy and sausage gravy are superb, homemade according to our server. The biscuits are unique, too, most places seem to use the standard canned Pillsbury stuff, but the biscuit here were amazingly light and fluffy, with a nice flaky top. I would hazard they handmake the biscuits, or else use pre-made ones of a better quality than Pillsbury. My omelette was very fluffy, well diapered with the meats and cheeses. One end was overcooked, but only just, and a very small length, so I'm not complaining, just mentioning. The hash browns were a bit disappointing. I like shreds to be crispier, and these were fairly limp and still had that dense potato texture. This is partially my own fault, as I should ask them to make them more crispy, but the hash browns are the only reason I didn't give 5. Otherwise, we will certainly eat here in the future - the price and quality of service, and atmosphere, are superb.
Great Philly cheese steak omelet! Good little mom and pop place for home cooking
The best home cooked dinner you can get around the River valley. Make sure you go at lunch because they aren't opened for dinner. You'll be glad you went and the prices are good.
