We have had 2 different events at Pig and Pepper BnQ in Alma and I can tell you they were very accommodating. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. Food was Excellent and the service was Awesome. I have eaten there on serveral nom event occasions the food has always been Great. Highly recommend
This is a sister location to the fort Smith one so if you like that one then you will like this one. The only difference is this location does not have a buffet like fort Smith.
The BBQ is fantastic and the place is decorated really nicely. The place is very clean and the servers are friendly. I was excited when I seen they were opening one here in town. Prices are on par with most BBQ places and portions are generous.
Edit: went again and service this time was not good. The staffing was horrible the two servers we had were fine themselves but they seemed so overwhelmed that they couldn't help us very quick. Our food took a long time and they were out of what I wanted which was pork. The people that were with me didn't enjoy it at all. My chicken sandwhich was great. I don't know what happened because the first time I came it was perfect.
Alma has needed a good bbq restaurant and now they do. I went to pig n pepper bbq today and was wonderfully surprised. You walk in to some of the most beautiful wood work I've ever seen. The owner did all the tables and the beautiful bar. The light fixtures are one if a kind. Again another brilliant idea of the owners. I had a brisket sandwich and fries. First the fries are fresh cut right there on site. The brisket sandwich was fantastic. The meat was smoked to perfection. If you want quality bbq at a reasonable price you have to check out my new friends at Pig n Pepper BBQ thier right off Hwy 64. You won't walk out of there hungry that's for sure.
