Mike's Place

We attended an event at Mike' Place. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was phenomenal. Service was superb. The side salad was a good size. We had the salad with ranch dressing. It was the right amount to accompany our entrée. The Seafood Crepes was astounding! Ask for extra bread so you can dip and savor all that sauce. Yum! The Blackened Chicken Alfredeaux was top-notch. It was creamy and seasoned very well. Our servers were really attentive and professional. The perfect restaurant to do an event or group dining to date nights. You will not be disappointed!!!! We will be back!

Beautiful restaurant with a friendly staff and delicious food. My wife enjoyed the Golden Fried Shrimp with Fried Okra and I really liked the Prime Rib Sandwich with Red Beans & Rice. Highly recommend. We didn't get a chance to try their cocktails as we had ordered glasses of wine, but from reading the menu the drinks sounded good and we'll likely order on our next visit.

By far the best place for fine dining within 100 miles! Top notch service with a wonderful collection of Maura Weirs artwork to see. The food is and always has been on point consistently for years now. Don’t hesitate to stop in for a great dining experience.

We had dinner at Mike’s Place tonight. I had the Fried Green Tomatoes, the Red Pepper Crawfish Bisque, and the Shrimp and Grits, which they happily made without the pork. When I told them of my allergy to pork and beef, the waiter said he would tell the cook to make sure to cook the grits separately (they cook a grit patty on a flat top.) Usually, I can’t get Shrimp and Grits because the sausage is always cooked in it, so I was shocked that they could leave it out for me. Extremely impressed, and the entire meal was just phenomenal. We had a waiter at the bar who was very attentive and told me that the Rock Lobster drink was better that the Mai Tai, when I told him that I like my drinks like I like my men, sweet and fruity. The Rock Lobster drink was so good, I had two of them. We moved to a table and had a different waiter who was just as attentive. It is my son’s 23rd birthday and he brought out dessert with a lit candle. I love Mike’s Place!!

AMAZING FOOD! We started with the steamed crab claws in a garlic butter sauce and they were so good! Comparable to the ones we had in florida! My husband had the white fish and I had the blackened shrimp and this was definitely a five-star meal! Jonathan was our server and he was definitely a true professional! Will definitely go back!
