Salsa's Mexican Restaurant

I had lunch here recently and tried the Ranchero Jalisco. It was pretty decent but unfortunately it had a bit too much queso. I may have to start ordering these dishes with light queso. Honestly the only reason I order these dishes is cuz I see a Speedy Gonzalez on the menu and that usually signifies that the food will be like most Mexican joints in town, meaning very ordinary. It's like they all use the same cook book. The chips weren't too great either.

If you're looking for a good spot to get Mexican food, Salsa's Mexican Restaurant is a great option. The enchiladas were delicious, and the Birria tacos with the broth were great. The staff is friendly, and the decor inside is nice. It can be a bit loud, but overall it's a great place to eat.

Genuinely the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in a long time. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant to go to, hands down. The service was great, the atmosphere was lovely, the food didn't take long at all and it was delicious. The decor is super cute too

The food, atmosphere & service was great! The parking can be tough since it is located downtown so get their early for a parking spot, free parking. The location is right in the middle for window shopping.

The main complaint that I'm trying to not give a 3 star review is that we ordered lunch & there was no times or days listed. We ordered on a Saturday around 11:30. We should of confirmed but most of the time, we are informed when ordering on the lunch menu if it is within their time frame for the lunch prices. We have a family of 3 but due to inflation, we don't go out to eat hardly anymore. We ordered water & our meals with appetizer should of been under $45. We got our ticket & it was $60 not including tip. Our son's plate should of been $9.99 & it was $16.99. My plate should of been $8.99 & it was $12.99. My husband's was around $4 different as well.

Now, this being said, I advise to ask if you are ordering lunch because the menu doesn't list times or days online or on menu. This is misleading & cause stress for families on a budget. We want to support our restaurants but please have the courtesy to update your menus.

Great location and building. Excellent service. Top Shelf Margaritas are good and strong. I've only had Nachos and Soft Tacos, but both were great. The salsa is really delicious! Great addition to Conway for the fun weekend dinner and drinks.
