“We enjoyed a good breakfast. The Diner Special is just right for small appetites. The western omelet was one of the best we've ever had. The coffee was great. They did run out of biscuits by 10 am, so we ended up with toast. The downside is that the gravy is cream gravy, not sausage gravy, so biscuits and gravy is a disappointment. It's the South, y'all. Why no sausage? The staff were fast and friendly, the restrooms were clean, and the parking ample and gravel.”

“We were invited to have lunch at Healy's Westside with my brother-in-law Tom and his son. They have frequented Healy's for years. We arrived right at opening on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves for awhile. Though they have a full beautiful bar we simply ordered soft drinks and began our meal with chips and guacamole - the chips and guac were an unexpected delicious choice and certainly one of the highlights of our visit. We ordered steak sandwiches and blue cheese burgers with fries. All were very good - kinda wish we were given more fries. I really enjoyed my steak sandwich with cheese and would recommend it to anyone. Healy's has a very comfortable atmosphere - feels like one of those bars/restaurants that has been and will be around forever.”
