Waffle House

Eh... Not much to say, except for the fact that in the afternoon, they are really short staffed. Literally there were two employees on the clock and half the seating was closed. I think that there was something wrong with their coffee machine or a user error because, my first cup of coffee was room temperature and I had to wait for a second pot to be made. Disappointed is the least I can say about the coffee and the bacon is almost always raw. I just don't eat fast food. I'm a chef though, so my standards are pretty high.

It was a nice enough experience, there wasn't really anything that stood out great or bad. My husband's chicken dish did have a piece of ham in it and he does not eat pork at all but the waitress was apologetic and gave us a small discount for his inconvenience. I'd eat there again and recommend to others just check your food throughly! Overall it was clean and organized.

Waffle House is a cornerstone of true American culture.

Real mix of everyone from homeless to regular Joe's to drunk college kids at 2am.

Great service, decent food, and decent prices .

The new menu is confusing and they have MANY "secret" menu items.

Not the best food nor the best atmosphere but great to see the salt of the earth and experience a "real" American greasy spoon .

Visit waffle house is always a pleasure. The customer service is good, delicious food and clean.

This was a really good Waffle House experience - in terms of the food - probably the best Waffle House breakfast we've ever had.

I had the Texas Melt with sausage, cheese and egg and it was perfect - one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.
Eggs were ideal - soft but not runny, no scorching on the whites.
Sausage was wonderfully spiced and not greasy.
Bread was toasted/grilled perfectly!!!!

Donna was very impressed with her grits - and she can be a tough critic of grits.

Prices very reasonable.

Downside - the service was kind of erratic & slow, but Friendly!
The atmosphere wasn't ideal - not well lit, kind of "dingy"

Overall.... Great food at a great price.
