“I actually dined here twice in 1 day. First time was just a country fried steak biscuit with a bit of gravy. It was quite tasty and I must say their biscuit game is on point. One of the best fast food biscuits imo. Later on for lunch I had a 2 piece chicken (leg and thigh) meal with dirty rice, mac & cheese and a biscuit. The sides were both ok but I will say I think Popeye's rice is a bit better. Again, the biscuit was gold. The chicken was decent but did have a bit of spice in the seasoning. Kind of like in between Popeyes' mild and spicy. Their service was friendly and very fast. So I'll definitely have to stop by on future trips through this area and at least get a biscuit. 😁”

“My family and I were on a long trip home, starving, and looking for somewhere to eat. Unfortunately it was July 4th weekend and nothing was open. We stumbled on the Crooked Cow, but they weren’t open either. I asked the owners if they knew a place that was. They proceeded to whip up the best fried pork chop and squash I have ever had for a good price, in good time, and with joy in the hearts. Would recommend this establishment to anyone.”

“We had a great experience jumping off I-40 for a local lunch at this cute little spot. We arrived about 145 and were greeted quickly and had drinks on the table within minutes. On a HOT day the swamp cooler and fans kept the covered patio seating plenty cool. Great music with lunch and quick service! We had a GREAT burger and BLT. For sides we chose the warm crisp fries and the Chicken Waldorf Salad. The food was great the service was speedy and friendly and there is nothing better than supporting local! A local patron told us they do fish frys and shrimp boils with drinks and local music on the weekend. This is a don’t miss spot, even if you have to drive 3 miles off the interstate, totally worth it!”
